AWARD Voices from Milan – Interviews from the 3rd General Assembly

 

 

During AWARD’s 3rd General Assembly in Milan, three short interviews were conducted to highlight different perspectives on the project and its demonstration activities.

Through the voices of Anna Varisco, Mayor of Paderno Dugnano, Francesca Framba from the Metropolitan City of Milan, and Stefan Görlitz from InterSus, these videos offer insights into local engagement, sustainable water management, governance, and the role of Alternative Water Resources in building more resilient territories.

What is about?

Natacha Amorsi - Project Coordination WP1

AWARD is a three-year project, funded by the European Commission’s Horizon Europe. Natacha AMORSI, the AWARD coordinator, describes its goal : to enhance water management by integrating Alternative Water Resources (AWR) into strategic planning.

The ambition is to provide evidence-based knowledge and lessons learned on the effective integration of affordable, acceptable, and reliable AWR solutions tested and monitored in 4 Demo Cases. Consortium: The project is coordinated by OiEau and brings together 14 beneficiaries and 2 affiliated entities across 7 European countries. 

Sadika Bernard - Deputy Coordinator & Leader Work Package 6

She explains how this strategy is not just a complementary aspect but a pivotal element that significantly influences the overall success of the project.
